Damn, I have to post in this megathread and I am not overly fond of forums. My silence can be misinterpreted as support for CCP, I can't let that happen. I have been playing since 2006 and I'm currently running 3 accounts. Sadly enough I have like 6-7 months before my subs run out which makes me feeling guilty of sponsoring CCP to keep ruining the game.
My days preaching the Eve gospel is at an end. CCP, you should be ashamed of what you have become and how you behave. I am ashamed that I have spoken so well about you, ashamed. I am a bloody culprit that have made friends trust me about how great CCP is. That is a mistake I will not repeat.
Your silence and inactivity speaks louder then your lies. At this moment I can't interpret it in any other way then you buying time to find a spin that will let you keep enough players to survive and still manage to push through changes the community do not want to have.
This whole affair saddens me. I so wanted to believe in Eve, in CCP, in their vision of the future. It's just impossible to love the game and company any more when this level of abuse is going on. It isn't the kind of relationship I can accept.
I will hope for a purge in CCP, throwing out the weed to let the game flourish, and that this MT nonsense will be buried and left as a footnote in Eve history. Though I realize that is unlikely to happen :/

Oh, and why does the lighting in Captain's Hostel make my toon look like a crack***** who took a bad beating from her pimp?
...
What the hell is up with this tiny hostel room, anyway? I'm the immortal captain of a starship and my station quarters are smaller and uglier than any motel room. Why can't I stay in my freaking pod? I'm sure it's at least cleaner than this dump.
Thank you, I really needed to LOL. Great posting, I feel much better now :)

They were complicit. They did allow it to happen without resigning.
However don't dig through their **** looking for holes. In a lot of cases the guys that have the most holes in qualifications are there by passion and dedication.
IF YOU WANT HOLES!
Look at the CFO and Landbanki etc. That rabbit hole runs DEEP!
Well said.

Originally by: Everial Probably time for CCP to seriously consider rolling back the expansion and abandoning Incarna in favor for an update that is more line with the wishes of this community.
It is increasingly looking like they fumbled badly, hopefully we can bury Incarna 6 feet under with this mess.
I actually want Incarna, but it must be an option to make me happy (otherwise I don't think I can tolerate it for long). I want my ship spinning and I will use Incarna when I feel like I want to. I manage perfectly fine without being dumped into the MT shop every time I want to make a quick stop at a station.
Right now ship spinning is trivial, though.

Maybe thinking that this is a preordered ruse to free EvE of the more vocal old-guard players isn't so paranoid.
I find this very unlikely. Many of those who cancel their subs are the silent ones and those who have been loyal to CCP. It had never crossed my mind to unsub until this week. Also, the vets are generally speaking a large part of the game. They know plenty of players, many are here thanks to them, both active and those on break. I am not saying that Eve stands or falls with them, but they are an important part of the community.

That is very true. I hope they have understood how serious the situation is and that they actually at least are polite. I will hope for the best :)

Relax guys. It is impossible to undo all the harm in a blog, but if we are lucky it may be a start for something to build on. Let's wait and see what we get, then ponder if we can build on it.

I guess that this with Sony either is a fantastic troll or CCP's mole hunt that finally paid off.

Haha, so close to getting answers and I can't stay awake longer. Depressing. I hope I wake up to good news.

I actually like old WoD and had planned to try the MMO when it was released. It is safe to say that WoD themepark will now never be installed on my computer, I will also avoid Dust like the plague.
I still don't know how to deal with this MT crap we have going in Eve. Incarna is the symbol for MT and it ****es me off that I might be forced to look at that symbol instead of the hangar. I can't really see what CCP can do (that people trust) that will make a lot of players not leave the game or cancel some of their subs. It is even harder to get disappointed people not saying what they think about CCP to others. The situation is quite sad even if it is earned.

I have changed my mind. I no longer believe that MT automatically would kill Eve. I will quote my reasoning from another thread.
Originally by: Ra Vhim
Well, I have been thinking quite a lot about MT since this patch. Before the patch I didn't care. When it started to look like non-vanity items may be coming then I hated the whole MT idea. Now I believe that it might be possible if they only sell blueprints at Eve-prices (what it would cost in ISK on the normal market - no clothes for starship prices).
If they do that then I wouldn't care if they put every NPC bpo in NEX and turn it to a blueprint market. It would require that CCP drop the idea to have roflol prices and keep it within reasonable prices in Eve. I wouldn't care if I buy a bpo from the market or NEX as long as the price is about the same in ISK value (I would simply buy a PLEX from the market).
However, with the prices CCP take in the NEX this would be impossible. A cup of coffee in the NEX shop would cost like hundreds of AUR because it is really good coffee! I can't even guess how many hundreds of billions of ISK a raven NPC blueprint would cost if CCP keep up with their pricing.
Edit: I must add that this would probably encourage CCP to give us new useful mods and ships. Not all BPOs would be expensive (keeping the price about what is standard in Eve) but a lot would be sold.

Hilmar basically gives a big "Fvck you" to us, give him the actions, not words he so deserves and quit eve today.
Nice, good to know. :)
